Keeping all other parameters constant,

So when the mass doubles and the distance doubles we have,

[tex]\begin{gathered} F^{\prime}\propto\frac{2m}{(2d)^2} \\ \Rightarrow F\propto\frac{m}{2d}=\frac{F}{2} \end{gathered}[/tex]

A. The gravitational force becomes half as great.
