f (t) < 10 or f (t) > 14, where f ( t) = 4t + 2 ​

When f(t) <10 , ie f(t) = 9,8,7,6.....0

$\begin{gathered} f(t)=6 \\ 6=4t+2 \\ 6-2=4t \\ 4=4t \\ t=\frac{4}{4} \\ t=1 \end{gathered}$

When f(t) > 14 , ie f(t) = 15,16,17,18......

$\begin{gathered} f(t)=18 \\ 18=4t+2 \\ 18-2=4t \\ 16=4t \\ t=\frac{16}{4} \\ t=4 \end{gathered}$
