Thus;

[tex]z=150-x.....................equation3[/tex]Substitute equation 3 in equation 2;
[tex]\begin{gathered} 10x+6(150-x)=y \\ \\ 10x+900-6x=y \\ \\ 4x+900=y \\ \\ 900=y-4x \end{gathered}[/tex]ANSWER: The equation that represents the relationship between the number of adult tickets sold, x, and the total amount, y, in dollars, raised from ticket sales is;
[tex]y-4x=900[/tex]It can also be;
[tex]y=4x+900[/tex]
