Part 1

The volume of the triangular prism is given by the formula

[tex]V=BL[/tex]

where

B is the area of the triangular face

L is the length of the prism

so

[tex]\begin{gathered} B=(5)(5) \\ B=25\text{ cm}^2 \end{gathered}[/tex]

L=4 cm

substitute

[tex]\begin{gathered} V=25(4) \\ V=100\text{ cm}^3 \end{gathered}[/tex]

The volume of the triangular prism is 100 cm3

Part 2

The volume of the rectangular prism is given by

[tex]V=L*W*H[/tex]

substitute given values

[tex]\begin{gathered} V=(8)(10)(6) \\ V=480\text{ cm}^3 \end{gathered}[/tex]

The volume of the rectangular prism is 480 cm3

Part 3

The volume of the composite figure is equal to

V=100+480

V=580 cm3
