To solve this problem we need to find a conversion factor between the columns of data.

We can see that in the middle row, -31 becomes 155: there was a multiplication by -5, because

[tex]-31(-5)=155[/tex]

Also in the last row, 90 becomes -45: there was also a multiplication by -5, because

[tex]90(-5)=-450[/tex]

So we can see that the conversion factor between the middle column the right column is -5:

So we have to do this in the first row, the missing number has to be such that when we multiply it by (-5) it results in 545.

The opposite is also true: the missing number is the result of dividing 545 by -5:

[tex]\frac{545}{-5}=-109[/tex]

Answer: -109
