The brain and the spinal cord make up the Central Nervous System. These two organs of the body comprises a complex system that is functioning on everything that we do.

The nerves when put together is making up the Peripheral Nervous system. It is one of the part of the Nervous System consisting of the nerves and ganglia located outside of the brain and the spinal cord. The Somatic Nervous System is a part of the Peripheral Nervous System. It functions for the voluntary control of the movement of the body with the aid of skeletal muscles. The Autonomic Nervous Sysyem is also a part of the Peripheral Nervous System. It is responsible for the involuntary physiologic processess regulations. These includes the heart rate, blood pressure, digestion, and respiration.
