A line with the coordinates of the two points given as (0,0) and (20,0)

The formula to get the coordinate of the midpoint of a line is given by;

[tex]\begin{gathered} (\frac{x_1+x_2}{2},\frac{y_1+y_2}{2}) \\ \text{where x}_1=0 \\ y_1=0 \\ x_2=20 \\ y_2=0 \\ \end{gathered}[/tex]

Thus the coordinate of the midpoint from the formula above is;

[tex]\begin{gathered} (x,y)=(\frac{0+20}{2},\frac{0+0}{2}) \\ (x,y)=(\frac{20}{2},\frac{0}{2}) \end{gathered}[/tex]

Thus, to get the x-coordinate of the midpoint segment, we divide 20 by 2.

The correct answer, therefore, is Option C.
