f(x) = 2x^2 + 4 evaluated for x = 7:

f(7) = 2(7)^2 + 4 = 2(49) + 4 = 98 + 4 = 102

f(7) = 102

If x is drecreased by 3, then x = 4, evaluating for x = 4:

f(4) = 2(4)^2 + 4 = 2(16) + 4 = 32 + 4 = 36

f(4) = 36

The difference between f(7) and f(4) is 102 - 36 = 66

So the answer is 66
