Find the slope of the line between the second and third points

Solution
We are required to find the slope of the line between two given points.
[tex]\begin{gathered} (0,6),(6,9) \\ x_1=0 \\ y_1=6 \\ x_2=6 \\ y_2=9 \end{gathered}[/tex]The slope formula is given as ;
[tex]\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}[/tex]Substitute the given values into the slope formula
[tex]\begin{gathered} \frac{9-6}{6-0} \\ \\ \frac{3}{6} \\ \\ \frac{1}{2} \\ \\ 0.5 \end{gathered}[/tex]m = slope
Hence the slope , m=0.5
