So let's simplify the circuit

This section has two resistors in series, therefore they can be combined like this.

Now that we can simplify these two resistors like this, let's simplify the next two.

This is because 1/T = 1/5 + 1/5; and therefore T = 2.5

After simplifying all the resistors, we get the total resistance is 2.5 ohms
