where x's are hours and y's distances. The slope can be computed as

[tex]m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}[/tex]

by substituying the values of the 2 points into m, we have

[tex]\begin{gathered} m=\frac{50-0}{1-0} \\ m=\frac{50}{1} \\ \end{gathered}[/tex]

this means that, Tim travels 50 miles every hours. Which is answer C.
