Gas exchange in the body includes respiration, when the lungs capture or expel the gases. In the lungs, those gases also are inserted in the blood stream to flow with the blood through the body, so all of the body parts gain access to those gases. Therefore, the two organ systems are the Respiratory System and the Circulatory System.
