First, we need to find the fraction of the buses

Fraction of buses = 1 - (3/4 + 1/5)

[tex]\frac{3}{4}+\frac{1}{5}=\frac{15+4}{20}=\text{ }\frac{19}{20}[/tex]

Fraction of buses =

[tex]1-\frac{19}{20}[/tex][tex]=\frac{20-19}{20}[/tex][tex]=\frac{1}{20}[/tex]

Let the number of vehicle be x

[tex]\frac{1}{20}\text{ of x = 4}[/tex][tex]\frac{1}{20}\times x=4[/tex][tex]\frac{x}{20\text{ }}=\text{ 4}[/tex]

Multiply both-side of the equation by 20

[tex]x=20[/tex]

The number of vehicles are 20
