P parenthesis

E exponents

M multiplication

D division

A addition

and

S subtraction

Doing the parenthesis first, we have:

[tex]\begin{gathered} (6\times\frac{1}{2})^2+20\cdot5 \\ =(3)^2+20\cdot5 \end{gathered}[/tex]

Now, we do the exponent:

[tex]\begin{gathered} (3)^2+20\cdot5 \\ =9+20\cdot5 \end{gathered}[/tex]

Then, we have multiplication:

[tex]\begin{gathered} 9+20\cdot5 \\ =9+100 \\ =109 \end{gathered}[/tex]
