Solution

For this case we know that:

[tex]h(x)=-x-7,f(x)=-x^2+8x-11[/tex]

And we want to find h(8) -2f(3) so we can do this:

[tex]h(8)=-8-7=-15[/tex]

And:

[tex]f(3)=-(3)^2+8(3)-11=4[/tex]

and finally:

[tex]h(8)-2f(3)=-15-2(4)=-15-8=-23[/tex]

And the final solution would be -23
