(a) The matt byme gym charge per month (slope)

pick any two-point on the cost of membership, as the y-axis and the same two points on the number of months as the x-axis.

Therefore the matt byme gym charge per month = $5

(b) The charge of matt by me gym to join the gym (y-intercept)

Hence the y-intercept to join the gym = 25
