In order to calculate the area of the base, we use the formula

$\begin{gathered} A_b=s^2 \\ then,\text{ } \\ A_b=(18ft)^2 \\ A_b=324ft^2 \end{gathered}$

then, the volume of the square pyramid is found through the formula

$\begin{gathered} V=\frac{1}{3}\times A_b\times h \\ \end{gathered}$

using the two previous answers,

$\begin{gathered} V=\frac{1}{3}\times324ft^2\times3\sqrt{7}ft \\ V=324\sqrt{7}ft^3 \\ V\approx857.22ft^3 \end{gathered}$
