Given that,

Cost of a magazine is $5

Let the cost of the candy bars be x

we get that,

Cost of a magazine and two candy bars is $15.

[tex]5+2x=15[/tex][tex]2x=15-5[/tex][tex]2x=10[/tex][tex]x=\frac{10}{2}[/tex]

[tex]x=5[/tex]

the cost of the candy bars is $5
