In order to find the sign of the product, we need to know that the product of two equal signs will be a positive sign, and two different signs will be a negative sign.

Also, we can consider just the sign of each number in order to find the final sign.

So we have that:

The sign of the product is negative, if A is a positive number, and is positive, if A is a negative number.
