If l is parallel to m the we know that the two angle down are equal because the propertie of oposite anlges, and we also know that the angle on top is the complementary angle of them, so we can write two equations:

[tex]\begin{gathered} 11y-32=6x+7 \\ (6x+7)+(3x-16)=180 \end{gathered}[/tex]

Now we can solve the secon equation for x so:

[tex]\begin{gathered} 6x+7+3x-16=180 \\ 9x-9=180 \\ 9x=180+9 \\ x=\frac{189}{9} \\ x=21 \end{gathered}[/tex]

Now with the value of x we can replace that in the first equation and solve for y so:

[tex]\begin{gathered} 11y-32=6(21)+7 \\ 11y=126+7+32 \\ y=\frac{165}{11} \\ y=15 \end{gathered}[/tex]
