We will have the following:

[tex]\begin{gathered} (m-2)(m^2+2m-3)=m(m^2+2m-3)+(-2)(m^2+2m-3) \\ \\ =m^3+2m^2-3m-2m^2-4m+6=m^3-7m+6 \end{gathered}[/tex]

So, the simplification is:

[tex]m^3-7m+6[/tex]
