We will find the equation of the line using 2 points lying on the line.

As shown the line passes through the points (0, -4) and (5, -5)

We will find the slope of the line as follows:

[tex]slope=m=\frac{rise}{run}=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}=\frac{-5-(-4)}{5-0}=-\frac{1}{5}[/tex]

And the y-intercept = the value of y when x = 0

So, b = y-intercept = -4

the equation of the line in the slope-intercept form will be:

[tex]\begin{gathered} y=mx+b \\ \\ y=-\frac{1}{5}x-4 \end{gathered}[/tex]

So, the answer will be option B. y = -1/5 x - 4
