We have the expression:
[tex]a(x+b)-c=d[/tex]
In order to solve for x we operate as follows:
[tex]\Rightarrow ax+ab=d+c\Rightarrow ax=-ab+c+d[/tex][tex]\Rightarrow x=\frac{-ab+c+d}{a}\Rightarrow x=-b+\frac{c}{a}+\frac{d}{a}[/tex]
