You have to find the value of x so that m(x)=7

To find the value of x you have to do as follows, first equal the expression 4x+15 to 7

[tex]7=4x+15[/tex]

Next pass 15 to the other side of the equal sign by performing the inverse operation

[tex]\begin{gathered} 7-15=4x \\ -8=4x \end{gathered}[/tex]

Finally divide both sides of the equation by 4 to reach the value of x

[tex]\begin{gathered} -\frac{8}{4}=\frac{4x}{4} \\ -2=x \end{gathered}[/tex]

So for x=-2 m(x)=7
