Equation of the line:

Use the equation of the line to find a point in the line:

Find the value of y when x= 4

[tex]\begin{gathered} y=2(4)-3 \\ y=8-3 \\ y=5 \end{gathered}[/tex]

point (4,5)

y-interception gives you the point (0,-3)

Using the points (0,-3) and (4,5) graph the linea: put the points in the plane and draw a line that passes through those points:
