The slope of a line, m, that passes through a pair of points is given by the ratio between the variation in y and the variation in x:

[tex]\begin{gathered} m=\frac{\Delta y}{\Delta x} \\ m=\frac{0-6}{3-0} \\ m=\frac{-6}{3} \\ m=-2 \end{gathered}[/tex]

So, the slope of the line is m=-2
