How to solve this problem. Does a given value for x make the inequality true or false?

Given the inequality:
[tex]x-1\ge6[/tex]Solving for x
Add 1 to both sides
[tex]\begin{gathered} x-1+1\ge6+1 \\ x+0\ge7 \\ \therefore x\ge7 \end{gathered}[/tex]Therefore, we obtained the values of x to be greater or equal to 7.
Hence, the values which are the solution to the inequality are 7 and 10.
