The Constitution is regarded as the elitist document designed to protect the interest and views of specific cohesive groups because its main aim lies in strengthening the people, protecting their rights and enabling them to fight against social evils through due process of law.
Constitution is huge document whose founding fathers have worked with task-oriented vision to provide solutions to all major problems that exists in the society. The embodiment of our most fundamental principles is the whole idea of having a constitution. Public opinion tends to get manipulative on several topics due to which constitution is flexible to changes with evolving times but the basic principle in the constitution remains constant.
