Replace r by each value and simplify:

a . f(-2)

[tex]\sqrt[]{-2+2+9}[/tex][tex]\sqrt[]{9}[/tex][tex]3[/tex]

b. f(14)

[tex]\sqrt[]{14+2+9}=\sqrt[]{25}=5[/tex]

c.f(x-2)

[tex]\sqrt[]{x-2+2+9}=\sqrt[]{x+9}[/tex]
