If a regular hexagon is rotated 60° about its center, then the rotated hexagon will coincide with the preimage (refer to the above picture).
A rotation of 360° is equivalent to 6 rotations of 60° (6x60° = 360°). Therefore, if a regular hexagon is rotated 360° about its center the image of the hexagon will coincide 6 times with the preimage.
