On comparing the given equation with this equation, we get,

[tex]\begin{gathered} a=2.6 \\ b=0.9 \end{gathered}[/tex]

The conversion of the equation in form e is,

[tex]y=ae^{(\ln \text{ b)x}}[/tex]

Substituting the value of a and b in the equation then,

[tex]y=2.6e^{(\ln 0.9)x}[/tex]

Hence, the equation y in form of e is y=2.6e^((ln 0.9)x) or y=2.6e^(-0.105x).
