Let's create a table with column 1 for number of period,

column 2 for Time(minute),

column 3 for Bacteria spores.

It is observed that the bacteria spore is increasing exponentially at each period interval

Let x equals the number of minutes the bacteria have been growing, and

n equals number of period. Then;

[tex]a_x=2^n[/tex]

At n=1;

[tex]a_x=2^1=2[/tex]

and others follow the formular.

At n=2,3, and 4
