Please help!!! I need to factor the expression by grouping, but I messed up and gave an equation instead

Given the expression
[tex]y^3-4y^2-8y+32[/tex]Take outside the square of y from the first two terms and -8 and from the last two terms.
[tex]y^2(y-4)-8(y-4)[/tex]The term y-4 is common. So, take it outside.
[tex](y^2-8)(y-4)[/tex]
