So I know what rigid motions are I just don’t know how to take GHJ onto triangle STU

Rotate GHJ anticlockwise using centre G until GH is lined up with ST and then reflect over a line halfway between G'H'J' and STU.
Transformation techniques is a way of changing the size and shape of an object in a xy-plane. The transformation types that we have include:
• Translation
,• Reflection
,• Glide-reflection
,• Rotation
To take the triangle GHJ on STU, we first need to align the line GH with ST and this can be achieved by rotating triangles GHJ anticlockwise using G as the centre. This will make the triangle GHJ and STU to be mirror images of each other.
Since they are now mirror images of each other, we can now reflect over an imaginary line halfway between the rotated image G'H'J' and STU.
