To calculate the percentage change you have to calculate the increase first.

Increase= New number - original number

Then divide the increase by the original value and multiply it by 100

[tex]Increase=9-5=4[/tex]

Percentage:

[tex]\frac{4}{5}\cdot100=80[/tex]

The percent of change of the miles she can run is 80%
