The Treaty of Westphalia, signed in 1648 in Munster (German), terminated the Thirty Years' War, which had begun with only an anti-Habsburg insurrection in Bohemia circa 1618 that grew into a tangle of various disputes over the Eastern Roman Empire's legislation, church, and Europe's government system.
This was a major change that was happening in Peace of Westphalia when the government system was changing and so was the international policy with that regard was also changing which brought major transformation.
