The belief I questioned was about Santa Claus being a supernatural being and was able to grant anything I wished for. This belief stuck with me when I was a child and I believed it and started challenging later on when I discovered humans were behind wearing of the costume.
I also wished for a lot of things and told Santa about it but it didn't happen and certain requests also weren't granted which prompted me to challenge or doubt this belief about him being able to grant children's wishes.
