I think im right about this so you use PEMDAS which is perenthies idk how to spell so you do the x-5 first but since you have the 2 infrotn of it its gonna be 2 times x which is 2x and then 2 times -5 which is -10 so you're left with 2x-10-6x=-22 then you want to get rid of the x's so i belive you cant combine a negative and postive so then you just add 6x to both the x's which would leave you with 8x -10=-22 then you add 10 to both sides youre left with 8x=-12 you can divide it then but you come out with a decimal so i could be wrong idk but i know you follow pemdas and that is perenthesies, exponents, mulitplication, divison, addition, subtraction
