The slope of both lines is infinity

Slope of  a line

The formula for calculating the slope of a line is expressed as;

Slope = y2-y1/x2-x1

Given the coordinate (-7, -9) and (-7, 8).

Slope =  8+9/-7+7
Slope = 17/0

Slope = infinity

For the coordinate points (8, 5) and (8, -5).

Slope = -5-5/8-8

Slope = -10/0

Slope = infinity

Hence the slope of both lines is infinity
