To rewrite your text, you can use your imagination to present the story by your interpretation. As for the tale "Rapunzel," you can use the flashback to make Rapunzel remember her mother telling her not to communicate with strangers. You can use flash forward to show Rapunzel at her wedding, being happy to be freed from her prison.
