The supercontinent Rodinia consisted of Laurentia and other smaller landmasses. This statement is TRUE.

A Neoproterozoic supercontinent named Rodinia formed between 1.1 and 0.9 billion years ago and disintegrated between 750 and 633 million years ago. Probably for the first time, Valentine & Moores in 1970 identified the Precambrian supercontinent they named "Pangaea I." Rodinia was created at at 1.23 Ga by the accretion and collision of pieces left over from the breakup of Columbia, an older supercontinent that was put together by collisions that occurred globally between 2.0 and 1.8 Ga.

Following its merger 1.8 billion years ago, Laurentia is the craton that makes up the Precambrian core of North America and was a significant continent throughout the majority of the Proterozoic. The evolution of reconstructions of Proterozoic paleogeography, including the Paleoproterozoic to Mesoproterozoic supercontinent Nuna and most recent Mesoproterozoic to Neoproterozoic supercontinent Rodinia, depends on the paleogeographic position of Laurentia.
