Based on the given quadrilaterals and their angles, the following are true:
The first shape given is a square which means that all the angles have the equal number of 90°. The value of x is therefore:
x = 90 - 45
= 45°
The second quadrilateral is a Trapezium and adjacent angles will add up to 180°. The value of y is:
= 180 - 60
= 120°
The third shape is a parallelogram and the lengths of sides that are opposite each other are the same. This means that a will have the same value as the opposite side of 15 cm.
