During the PALEOLITHIC Era, humans left the continent of AFRICA and spread across the globe. They were NOMADS, which means they moved from place to place in search of food. They survived by tracking game and collecting plants and berries, a practice called HUNTING AND GATHERING.
This was the term that was used to refer to the people that existed in a particular era. The people in this time period were known to have lived in caves. What they did the most as occupation was hunting and gathering.
They hunted animals and also birds by the use of carved stones and other instruments in history.
