The term "Internet piracy refers to the use of devious means
to gain access to otherwise restricted content. This content can
be anything from movies to books. One of the reasons why
Internet piracy is so popular is that people can get the content
for free.
However, in doing so, they are breaking copyright laws and
causing financial harm to the artists involved. By taking the
unauthorized path, hackers are only thinking about their own
profits. Even if the claims of financially stable companies are
ignored, there are a lot of struggling artists who earn their
bread and butter by selling content at low rates. Thus, Internet
