An urchin's jaw apparatus called Aristotle's lantern has five individual jaws that reflect the animals. The complex jaws made up of calcium plates. These  plates are connected by muscles.

Aristotle's lantern use by creature or mouth , to scrape algae off rocks and other surface as well as butting and chewing prey. According to Aristotle " the mouth apparatus of the urchin is continuous from one end to the other but it looks like a horn lantern with the panes of horn left out".

There are some examples such as - Sea urchin . It is belong to the class echinoderm. Five teeth surrounding the mouth are attached to mastication apparatus, called Aristotle's lantern.
