The process of producing a radio-graphic study of blood vessels after the infection of a contrast medium is known as Angiography.
Angiography is used to check the health of your blood vessels.In this process a needle is used to puncture the main artery in armpit or crook of the arm and place a ciled wire in artery. The needle is withdrawn and tube passed over the wire into artery. then wire is removed and both arteries structure they supply with blood can then be visualized.
It helps in diagnose the several problem affecting blood vessels, which includes atherosclerosis- narrowing of arteries, which mean you're at risk of having stoke or heart attack.
