Golgi apparatus is the organelle which modifies the contents within vesicles and then repackages them for export.

The structure of the Golgi apparatus or Golgi complex is flattened, layered, sac-like organelle that looks like a stack of pancakes. It helps to move materials, which are proteins and other molecules, from one part of a cell to another.

Although it intercepts ER vesicles, modify the content for export, and repackage the material in a Golgi vesicle, which can be fuse with plasma membrane. This apparatus even receives proteins and lipids from the rough endoplasmic reticulum. It is because, it helps in transporting protein within or outside the cell.
