His attitude was shaped by operant conditioning.

In psychology, an attitude refers to a fixed of feelings, ideals, and behaviors toward a particular object, person, thing, or occasion. Attitudes are regularly the end result of enjoyment or upbringing, and they could have an effective effect on behavior. While attitudes are enduring, they also can change.

Through operant conditioning, an affiliation is made between a conduct and a consequence (whether negative or positive) for that conduct. 1  for example, whilst lab rats press a lever when an inexperienced light is on, they get hold of a meal pellet as praise.

In Operant Conditioning Theory, there are essentially four quadrants: Positive Reinforcement, Positive Punishment, Negative Reinforcement, and Negative Punishment.
