Validity (Accuracy)   is the extent to which a measuring instrument measures what it was intended to measure.

Vernier calipers are widely used linear measuring instruments with a minimum count of 0.02 mm. Used to measure linear dimensions such as length, diameter, and depth. The main scale and vernier can be moved on the main scale. If the meters can measure basic electrical quantities such as voltage and current, they are called basic meters.

Ammeters, voltmeters, and wattmeters are examples of electrical measuring devices. Ammeters measure current in amperes. A voltmeter measures voltage and a wattmeter measure power. The classification of electrical equipment depends on how the output indication is presented.
