Almost everything, but what you're probably aiming for is something like the winds. The wind patterns, their behavior, strength, it's all based on what you described.
Temperature
The chief factors that affect temperature are latitude, altitude, distance from large bodies of water, and ocean currents.
The tropical zone is the region adjacent to the equator, within about 23.5° north latitude and 23.5° south latitude. It has a temperate climate because it sustains direct sunlight all year. The polar zones elongate from about 66.5° to 90° north and 66.5° to 90° south latitudes. They have cold weathers because the sun hits the ground at a deeper angle.
Altitude is a significant weather factor because air warmth diminishes as altitude rises. Large bodies of water impact heat because water warms up and cools down more gradually than land. Marine climates have moderately hot winter and cold summers. Many marine atmospheres are also affected by ocean currents.
